Kamakshi Pandarinathan Trust also stated as KPT is one of the renowned Non-Profit charitable organization pioneers in serving Persons and families with Disabilities. It is a single shelter that caters facilities for the people across their life span irrespective of their socio economic and geographic entities. The sole motive of KPT was to uplift the underprivilege persons in all the ways. The Trust was founded by Shri. P. Paulraj in 2004 and is effectively functioning by the charitable fund provided by a few goodwill individuals, organizations, fund raised against the home stay and schemes approved by National as well as State Government including Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme from the year 2017.

Located at a rural backdrop and opposite to collectorate office, fulfils its dual purpose by finding it effortlessly distinguishable and conveniently accessible to the underprivileged and difficult to commute population. Trust is novel in it endeavors as it incorporates evidence based interdisciplinary approach in habilitation and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. When the Managing trustee Shri. P. Sugumar an Occupational Therapist along with the Founder intended to empower the persons having disabilities. For the good cause to begin, founder has handed over his own building of 2400 sq. ft area, a Maruthi Omni as well to the trust. This aided in starting Saisri Paulson’s Multi-Specialty Therapy Centre, Srimathi Karthikeyani school for special Children and proving free transportation service to the families’ attending services at KPT. The therapy center and special school is now serving nearly 1000 children and adults with disabilities every month since 2004.
